Couple More Things

I finished my Dissapearing Nine Patch awhile back, Made a lung cake for class and made my dog a birthday cake this past Sunday :-)

BIG UPDATE

Sorry for the HUGE absence but school has been CRAZY this year leaving little time for anything else. I havent done a swap in forever *cries*. I have managed to get a few things sewed however so here they are.

For this quilt each class member gave me a piece of fabric that represented them. They also made a corresponding scrapbook page that included a square of the fabric they chose. I took them all and sewed this quilt for my friend Sara who is due very soon with her first daughter Brooke.

And we finally put the soil and grids in the veggie gardens! Woo! I finished up the trellises today for the climbing type veggies. The trellises are along the back 2 beds. I will post a pic tomorrow with them up. I also planted some sugar snap peas, yellow onions, and nasturtium flowers. Waiting on my tomato seeds, pepper seeds, and tomatillo seeds. I have strawberry plants coming as well. Im excited! We'll see how it goes....or grows:-)
